For an awful lot of food lovers and festival lovers, the first sighting of Pat O’Leary’s Wok’n’Roll food cart will be the surest sign that Irish society has truly returned to normal, and that it's high time we just got on with the business of having a good time, and having some fine Wok’n’Roll cooking. When you get that first taste of their award winning Thai crispy chiili chicken salad, then you will know everything is gonna’ be alright
Mr O’Leary had a hard time with the pandemic, as the festival circuit evaporated. But the cavalry brought deliverance in the shape of Cork’s dynamic Marina Market, where Wok’n’Roll was able to set up shop alongside a bevvy of talented food truck artisans and other food specialists, and was able to improve the mood of the nation, courtesy of the dishes we all love: grilled chicken skewers; Thai red chicken curry; prawns in crispy filo pastry; their classic Spice Box. this is smart, savvy cooking, and Wok’n’Roll never misses a beat, delivering good cooking with rock-steady consistency.
So, when you’ve got your festival wellies on, it’s time to Wok’n’Roll one more time.
