Trident Hotel

Could there be a better getaway address for an hotel than World’s End? 
Because that is where Kinsale’s stellar Trident Hotel is located, at the end of the town, at the edge of the sea, as the road heads out to Summercove and the Old Head of Kinsale. It’s a magisterial location, and the sea-facing rooms have jaw-dropping views acros the water. So, the Trident could coast just on the strength of its location. But, fortunately, thanks in no small part to the lengthy tenure of manager Hal McElroy, here is an hotel that is astutely managed and efficiently run by an excellent team. There is dining in the nautically-themed Wharf Tavern – Kinsale seafood bake; Wharf burger with smoked bacon – and also the more formal Pier One restaurant.
