Foods of Athenry

The Lawless family are prodigious. Their artisan food company, The Foods of Athenry, is prodigiously innovative, and the foods they produce are prodigiously good. The company creates and innovates with such speed that you have to work very hard indeed just to keep up with what Siobhan and Paul and the rest of the family are doing. They seem to be able to give birth to darling new ideas, and are then able to get them to the marketplace at warp speed, with terrific new products arriving regular as clockwork. Even the loss of their original bakery in a fire scarcely slowed this dynamic family, and their ability to change, adapt and morph into new identities is simply remarkable. And many of those products arrive not just fully formed, they arrive with benchmark status written all over them, proof of their capacity for rigorous analysis and development. Their wonderful cookies, flapjacks, cakes and scones are healthful and delicious, and above these flavours are exuberant, and they have brought that exuberance to their gluten-free range of foods, alongside their multi award-winning crackers, cookies and cereals. The foods demonstrate a family company that has both a grĂ¡ of, and a nous for, good food, foods that make your life better the moment you discover them.
