Shore Coffee Bar
Ben Flanagan’s Shore Coffee has been blazing a comet’s path in Courtown during its first eighteen months, bringing great brews and great foods to the town, and also bringing a great, youthful vibe along with all those tasty things.
In fact, Shore Coffee seems such a part of the Wexford scene that you have to pinch yourself to remember that it has only been around for a wee while, and you also have to pinch yourself to recall that Ben is still a teenager.
But Ben has a natural advantage, to wit the 50 years of service that his family have gifted to Wexford thanks to their Family Entertainment Centre. So Ben’s initiative in creating Shore is one of the best examples of apples falling close to the tree. He cut his coffee teeth in Kildare town’s Square Coffee, so the sure-fire barista skills were there, and with beans from Full Circle Roasters of Dublin, Shore hit the ground running, and quickly got better and better.
They have kept adding in lots of delicious bakes and bowls and scrummy treats from Wexford’s food artisans, they have filled the shelves with all the choice artisan goods everyone needs, and they have also made Shore progressively more beautiful. What a winner.
